Czech Society for Cybernetics and Informatics (CSKI), whose mission includes development of cybernetics and informatics in the Czech Republic and support of pedagogical activities in related fields, announces the national competition Antonín Svoboda Award for the best Ph.D. thesis.
Competition rules
- The topic of PhD thesis falls within the scope of ČSKI's scientific activities (cybernetics, informatics, related fields).
- The thesis was defended in 2022 at a faculty located in the Czech Republic.
- The submitted applications will be evaluated by the
committee of experts nominated by the ČSKI Council.
- The evaluation process has two rounds.
- In the first round the committee selects finalists and publishes their names on the website of Antonín Svoboda Award.
- In the second round the committee selects the Award winner. The committee reserves the right to divide the Award among more applicants or not to select a winner.
- The winner will present the thesis at the annual ČSKI General Meeting, where she/he will be awarded with diplomas (for her/him and her/his thesis advisor) and a cash award of 25 000 Kc.
